New Software version has new useful features in Front-end and Admin Panel, lets review them below:
Front-end features:
1. YouTube option on add video page.
This option allows listings owner to add YouTube video to the listing video tab besides current local video files option.
2. Cross Categories.
This plan feature will allow the user to cross own listing to different categories, thereby he will place single listing in a few categories which matches his boat.
3. Show/Hide rest categories button on the home page.
This option allows the website administrator to hide some items from the categories list and show button which will show or hide rest categories.
4. "Add Photos" and "Add Video" buttons added to the final step of the "Add Listing" process.
So users are able to add photos to the own listing after listing saving directly. (Disable if uploadify plugin is installed)
5. Textarea fields characters counter and textarea resizing options added.
Textarea fields characters counter - will help users to control the data length, this option prevents user to add more content then allowed by Administrator.
Textarea resizing - this option allows users to resize the textarea field if it needs.
6. Delete contacts and messages on My Messages page.
Users are able to remove unnecessary messages from the chat with another user or just remove whole contact with all messages inside.
7. Listing Plans by account types.
This feature allows the website administrator to relate the plans with account types. So it means that plans related to Dealer accounts will not be appeared for other account types anymore.
8. News RSS feed
Your website news can be placed on other website or saved in RSS feed manager through RSS feed now.
9. Show child categories’ listings in the parent category.
This option will show the listings from all child subcategories in the parent category.
10. New SEO pagination option.
The page number adds to the page title for each page of content.
11. Show price cents option.
New option displays cents after each listing price, for example:
Option disabled: 25,499
Option enabled: 25,499.00
12. Plans using limit.
Using this option you are able to prevent the users to use single plan many times, for example:
You may allow to use free plans just one time, then user will have to chose another plans.
13. Your logo as watermark on the uploaded photos.
This feature will allow you to place your logo on the uploaded photos. Using this option you are protecting your website content.
14. Photos number in the listings grid.
Having this option enabled you may display the count of the photos for each listing.
Photos count area is transparent and being visible once user mouse over it.
15. Errors handler.
This feature will help users to find the wrong filled in fields during add/edit listing or account form process.
Admin Panel features:
1. Searched results saving.
Admin Panel saves your searches and show you the previous results when you come to the page next time, this feature saves your time during you are work in Admin Panel
2. Administrator permissions.
New version has two types of administrators: super administrators and limited administrators, super administrator is able to prevent other administrators to handle some of Admin Panel managers.
This feature is very useful in case when you need to set some person to be responsible for some content of the website.
3. Listings Grid updated.
New listing grid contains main photos and short form details for each listing, so it is more convenient to works with listings in Admin Panel now.
4. Manage listing Photos and Video through Admin Panel.
It is one of the most requested features, so photos and video manager has been developed :)
This feature allows administrator to add photos or videos for any listing through Admin Panel.
5. Account types manager.
Account types are dynamic now and you have abilities to add new account types and manage or remove current types.
6. Account/Listing activation link.
Account/Listing activation link added to the administrator notification e-mail, so administrators are able to activate new accounts through the e-mail directly.
7. Language text direction.
This option will allow you to choose the text direction during new language creation, so it can be left to right or right to left text direction.
7. Search forms manager.
This option allows you to build new search forms and use them on the custom pages or in the blocks.
It were the most interesting features of the new version.
